IT Technical Support Specialist

·         Responsibilities

o   Maintaining helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction

o   Checking and responding quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk and Phone and remote support for end users

o   Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, operating systems, screens, and scanners and reviewing the inventory of all equipment

o   Coordinating PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software

o   Carrying out timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

o   Troubleshooting the network services (printing, email service, and Internet access)

o   Operating audiovisual equipment and assisting in organizing events

o   Testing and evaluating new technologies. • Batching operation and systems update

o   Recording events, problems, and their resolution in the ticketing system

o   Following-up on new IT Purchase requests

·         Qualifications

o   ITIL oriented or certified

o   Preferred to have a certification of any of these (A+, N+ or CCNA, MCSA, Extron AV associate, Apple Certified Support)

o   Self-motivated and desire to succeed

o   Excellent command of Arabic and English

o   Excellent communication skills

o   Good organizational and time management skills

o   Good understanding of different computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
